ABOUT VOX VAMPYRICA NOW ON ENGLISH

Vox Vampyrica is a program dedicated to the broad and emblematic production of Vamp & alternative trends of all time. Founded by Lord A :. in 2006 it was one of the first podcasts of its kind in Brazil, created with the experience inherited from the first The Maozoleum Radio (2005, first national webradio dedicated to Darkwave, Gothic and strands) and Radio Vampyrica (2006-2009, parallel initiative of the Vampyrismo website .org) whose Djsets were even mentioned in the American works. All of this without mentioning Lord A’s 22 years as a DJ of alternative events in Brazil and more than 10 books already published and more than 500 editions of Vox Vampyrica already made!

The program was created as a podcast in 2006 in an experimental way by Lord A :. – over the years the production of the podcast has become more professional, being recorded in places like the 80s Studio by producer Dennis 80 and in January 2010 it became a weekly program on the now extinct Radio Gato Preto. Between the end of 2010 and part of 2011, it was broadcast on The MaoZoleuM Radio 2.0 and later became part of the Wednesday nights of Acidic Infection, being even re-broadcast in the Second Life meta-universe. In the years 2014 to 2019 the program started to be broadcast and recorded in the ANTENA ZERO studios and since then it is one of the most watched programs in the house with an average of 5000 listeners or more.

Currently (2020) we are celebrating Vox Vampyrica’s fifteenth year of uninterrupted activity, always exploring topics and topics directly or subjectively linked to the theme of Vamp, Gothic, Romanticism, Mythology, Occultism and the like… In the musical part, we guided the program through Darkwave, Darkelectro, Ethereal, NeoMedieval, SteamPunk & convergent styles. We follow weekly in podcast format.
